How Mue keeps you safe
Mue acts on your behalf, so safety is built into how it works. Here's what that means, in plain words.
You approve purchases and website actions
Before Mue buys anything, or does anything on a website that changes something, like clicking a button or filling in a form, it sends you a link that shows exactly what it wants to do. Nothing happens until you approve it.
Each approval covers one exact action. It works only once and expires after 30 minutes, so an old link can't be reused. Approval links only work when you're signed in, and only for your own account.
Emails you ask Mue to send go out right away, without a separate approval.
One-time cards for approved purchases
When you approve a purchase, Mue pays with a one-time card made just for it. The card can't be charged more than the amount you approved, and each approval can make only one card.
The card number is typed straight into the checkout page. It's never shown to the AI, and Mue doesn't store it.
Your inbox stays yours
If you connect Gmail, you do it on Google's own consent screen, so Mue never sees your Google password. The access Google gives Mue is stored encrypted and is only used for your account.
You can disconnect Gmail anytime from your Console.
Verification codes stay private
When a sign-in or verification code arrives by text, WhatsApp or Gmail, Mue keeps the code out of what the AI reads. It goes into a private inbox instead.
Getting a code never lets Mue type it in or submit anything on its own. If a code is needed, you enter it yourself through a take-over link.
Take-over links are short-lived
When a website needs you, for example to sign in or solve a captcha, Mue sends a take-over link. It opens Mue's browser so you can finish that step yourself. You type your password there, so you never have to share it with Mue.
Take-over links expire in 5 minutes, work only once, and only open when you're signed in to your own account.
Websites and emails are information, not instructions
Mue treats what it reads on websites and in emails as information, never as instructions.
Even if a page or an email tries to trick it, purchases and website actions still need your approval.
You're in control
Pause Mue anytime: text PAUSE, or use the switch in your Console. Text RESUME to turn it back on.
Your Console shows what Mue remembers. You can edit or delete any memory there, or download a copy of your data.
